Scrap Yard**Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a grapple crane to cut, lift, move, and position loads in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience operating grapple cranes, mobile shear, material handlers, etc. in a variety of settings, including construction sites, warehouses, and industrial plants. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate grapple crane, material handler, or mobile Shear in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect equipment for any damages or malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment before use.
• Load and unload materials with grapple.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Communicate with other workers to ensure proper placement of materials.
• Helps unload customer vehicles, loads trailers, roll off boxes, keeps the yard clean, identifies & buys ferrous & non-ferrous materials, runs forklift, etc

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
