Roll-Off Truck Driver- Class A/B CDL- ($27/hour+ Based on Experience) ***LOCAL***

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting refuse and recyclables safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices, route driving, as well as the ability to handle different types of freight. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck to deliver freight to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
• Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle for safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Utilize manual transmission when required for specific routes or vehicles.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B (CDL- B) with air brakes endorsement
• No more than 1 moving violation within the past 3 years. No license suspensions within the past 2 years. No DUI's within the past 5 years or 2 in any 10 year period.
• Experience in truck driving, preferably with knowledge of route driving and freight handling.
• Familiarity with operating various types of trucks (Roll-Off and Front Load are plus)
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
• Strong time management skills to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.
