JOB DESCRIPTION METAL DEPARTMENT LABORER/SORTER/PARTS DISMANTLER

• MUST BE PUNCTUAL FOR AND DURING SHIFT
• LIFT 50 LBS
• STAND, KNEEL, STRETCH, BEND
• WORK IN WET/DRY/COLD/HOT WEATHER CONDITIONS
• IDENTIFY AND SORT MATERIALS ACCORDING TO COMMODITY
• KNOWLEDGE TO SAFELY USE VARIOUS HAND TOOLS
• ADHERE TO ALL SAFETY REGULATIONS WHILE OPERATING EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY
• STRIP WIRE
• DISMANTLE DIFFERENT MATERIALS
• KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN AND ORGANIZED
• WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND COLLABORATIVELY AND UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE NON-FERROUS SCALE BUYER AND/OR MANAGER
• ABILITY TO PROBLEM SOLVE
• GOOD ORGANIZATION SKILLS
• COMMUNICATE WITH NON-FERROUS SCALE PERSON
• COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMERS
• OTHER DUTIES AS THE YARD MANAGER AND/OR MANAGER SEES FIT
