Part Time CDL A Driver

Job Summary
Small family owned and operated septic and excavating company hiring a part time CDL A driver to help deliver equipment and material to job sites.

Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload as needed, ensuring cargo integrity and security
• Drive dump truck to deliver goods efficiently
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
• Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, maintaining schedules and communicating effectively with dispatch teams
• Assist with securing loads to prevent shifting during transit
• Maintain accurate documentation and logs

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and experience
• Proven truck driving experience, especially in commercial driving environments
• Ability to operate dump trucks is a plus
• Knowledge of load & unload procedures and safety protocols for freight transportation
• Strong physical stamina to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections as needed
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction
