Loader Operator Tipping Floor

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving material from the tipping floor and ensure a good mix of MSW and sludge is loaded into the digesters daily. This includes operating a front loader to move material on the floor and/or operate a wheel material loader to load the digesters.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Duties

• Notify drivers to enter the tipping floor by blowing the horn
• Direct drivers to place material at proper location for material wheel operator to access materials
• Monitor C2 conveyor to ensure conveyor is running and clean out compost overs from under headpulley
• Remove compost overs from under C2 conveyor and place into pile
• Ensure all FEL dewater at the drain
• Maintain tipping floor in a safe driving condition to operate loader and unload trucks
• Inspect loads to record and document unacceptable waste
• Inspect, service and operate front end loader including cleaning and preventative maintenance
• Adhere to all safety procedures
• Complete inspection forms
• Secure accessibility within the building
• Additional job duties as requested by management

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to tolerate high levels of stress
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail with the capability to follow instructions accurately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.42 per hour
