Position Overview
The Field Supervisor will report to the site’s General Manager, providing support to the Branch’s Field Operations. The Field Supervisor will work in the field to oversee and coordinate the field staff in the safe performance of daily work tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Accomplishes daily work goals by leading by example, coaching, and training employees.

Plans, monitors, and appraises job results.

Conducts training on the job in a one-on-one atmosphere as well as executes group training.

Implements and enforces systems, policies, and procedures specific to each jobsite, spill, or emergency response.

Create worksheets for billing that accurately reflects time, materials, rentals, disposal, and other billable items.

Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.

Completes operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operations problems, maintaining reference manuals, and implementing new procedures.

Controls expenses by gathering and submitting budget information, scheduling expenditures, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions.

Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
-
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Performs labor intensive activities in all-weather conditions throughout the shift.

Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights.

Operates lights and heavy equipment not limited to skid skeeters, forklifts, pressure washer.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities on a wide range of machinery and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Knowledge of fleet maintenance for heavy duty tanker equipment and other commercial vehicles.

Must be able to perform physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Must be able to wear PPE and respirator.

Must be able to work under adverse conditions (heat & cold).
Education and Experience Required
-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
-
Valid driver's license required with clean driving record required.
-
5-years of experience as a HAZWOPER/Environmental technician. OR 3-years of experience as HAZWOPER/Environmental technician with an additional 2-years of experience as a supervisor in another industry.

Proficient with Fleetio or related software to complete reports and logs.
