Job Description:

This employee will be responsible for the delivery and pickup of dumpsters from clients homes, businesses, and job sites and to empty the contents at the designated landfill by safely driving and operating a hooklift truck. The employee will also be responsible for the delivery, pickup, and servicing of our portable toilets. Both the dumpsters and the portable toilets are a part time driving load, equalling a full time position. As each category of business grows, the driver will work with the owner and operations manager to determine which product line to drive for in a full time capacity.

The ideal candidate will have experience in efficiently and safely operating medium to heavy duty trucks and equipment (CDL required for some of our fleet), engaging with customers, and maintaining safe driving practices.

A typical day of work is 6:30 am - 2:30 pm, though depending on demand some days are longer, some are shorter. This is a Monday-Friday position.

Responsibilities:

• Work with each customer to determine desired dumpster/toilet placement, and advise when conditions are not in the best interest to do so
• Follow routes designated by dispatcher in our routing app, accurately record product PIN numbers, weights, and photos in the driver app
• Service portable toilets according to company standards, providing a clean place for clients to use the restroom
• Check each dumpster before loading that it meets safe transportation guidelines
• Empty dumpster or waste tank at designated location
• Communicate equipment needs/repairs with overseer
• Obey all traffic laws
• Report on time to work
• Treat company equipment and customers with respect

Compensation/Benefits:

• Full time (35-50 hrs/week)
• Pay: $20-25/hr based on experience
• Weekly overtime pay 1.5x hourly rate over 40 hrs/week
• 80 hours/year of paid time off after 6 months of employment
• 6 paid annual holidays off (New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
