CDL Class B Driver / Septic Technician

Universal Septic Services, LLC is looking for a reliable and experienced Class B CDL Driver to join our team in the Holly, MI area. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you won't just be sitting behind the wheel all day. You will be operating a variety of commercial vehicles, including our septic tank pumping trucks and dump trucks, as well as hauling heavy equipment to and from local job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maneuver a Class B septic tank truck for residential and commercial pumping services.
• Drive and operate a dump truck for material transport and site cleanups.
• Load, secure, and haul heavy equipment to various job sites using flatbeds or equipment trailers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT vehicle inspections to ensure all trucks and equipment are in safe, working order.
• Maintain accurate electronic or paper logs, routing data, and service tickets.
• Interact professionally with customers and property owners on job sites.
• Assist the ground crew with setup, breakdown, and general site duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or higher.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Air Brakes endorsement required.
• Tanker endorsement is a strong plus.
• Proven experience driving commercial vehicles (septic, vacuum, or dump trucks preferred).
• Experience securely loading, tying down, and hauling heavy equipment.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and background check.
• Physical ability to lift heavy hoses, secure equipment, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
